1st Day- Arrival Santo Domingo

Arrival and pickup at the airport. Transfer to hotel in Santo Domingo

2^nd Day – Santo Domingo – Colonial Zone - Jarabacoa

City Tour on the walls of the city of Santo Domingo, to know the route of the slaves of the Hispaniola Colony. Passage across ¨The Atarazana¨ the Dockyards, place of slave’s auction, and the Street ¨la negreta¨, cells of slave’s pre selection and categorization. Then we will visit the square of the Cathedral, place where ¨la Picota¨ (punishment place) was located in the middle of the plaza, for the slaves who were infuriated. Typical lunch in a local Restaurant.

After the lunch, we will drive to Jarabacoa. On the road we will stop at the most important orange plantation and the most important plant of citric juices of the country for a tour.

3^rd Day – Jarabacoa – Butterflies Papillion - Eco-Walk

In the morning we will visit the Butterflies Papillion, the only one in the country developed by the entomologist, Kelvin Guerrero. A completely sustainable and educational project. We will know the endangered and migratory species, and the whole metamorphosis from the caterpillar up to the butterfly. Then, in company of the guide we will initiate a walk to discover the rural life in the mountains, the exotic fruits of this Caribbean country and the coffee plantations.

The Rancho will serve a delicious rural lunch.

In the afternoon we will go for a horseback riding to discover the most beautiful sceneries of Jarabacoa, and to visit the Baiguate fall, a 25 meters high cascade. The evening is free, and dinner will be served in the Rancho Restaurant.

4^th Day - Jarabacoa – Cocoa Path - Las Terrenas

After breakfast, we will drive to San Francisco of Macorís, to visit the plantation of the most important Cocoa farm of the country: the Esmeralda García Jiménez Hacienda where we will know the origins of the chocolate with the highest standards. We will visit the plantations to see from the process from farming up to the chocolate manufacture.

In the farm we will enjoy a delicious rural lunch.

Then, in the afternoon we will visit the small village of Salcedo, to do a panoramic tour and to observe all the murals that lead the scene of this place. The murals have been painted by the most out-standing national artists. There in Salcedo, we will visit the museum of the Mirabal Sister´s, Dominicans heroins who put opposition to the Trujillos´s dictatorial government and they were murdered because of this.

At the end of the day we will get to Las terrenes, Samana.

5^th Day – Las Terrenas

Free day to enjoy this beach, where a lot of foreigners have realized their dreams staying here forever!

Las Terrenas offers one of the most beautiful beaches of the country, and in the other side, an ambience of conviviality, typical of the Dominican, in which we will be able to enjoy nights full of magic.

6^th Day - Las Terrenas

7^th Day – Las Terrenas – Los Haitises Haitises

We will discover the National park of ¨Los Haitises¨. With over 3600 kilometers of extension, this natural reserve starts from the low basin of the river Yuna and the zone of Miches and Savanna of the Sea, is one of the most important National parks of the island. We will observe the rich flora and fauna, and will visit his magic caves earlier inhabited by the natives who were populating the island at the arrival of Christopher Columbus. After lunch, we will visit the Theme Park of the Taínos.

8^th Day - Las Terrenas – Depart to Santo Domingo
